In this context, our company proudly serves as a Bronze Sponsor of the Centaurus Racing Team, the student team of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Thessaly. Founded in 2009, Centaurus Racing focuses on the design and construction of innovative race cars and has consistently participated in the prestigious Formula Student international competition, competing alongside top university teams from around the world.
With 15 years of experience, 10 completed vehicles, and 25 international participations, the team has achieved global-level recognition and accolades.
Their new challenge is the transition to electric mobility. The team is currently building its first electric race car, relying entirely on sponsorships to cover the project’s material and financial needs.
As part of our support for this effort, KALAMARAKIS AUTOMATION is contributing OMRON E2E-S04SR8-WC-C1 proximity sensors, which will be used to measure wheel speed. The procurement process has already been initiated, affirming our commitment to providing high-quality, precise technological support.

At the same time, our company also stands as a Gold Sponsor of the POSEIDON TEAM from the University of West Attica (UNIWA), a team dedicated to designing and constructing electric-powered race vehicles.
